Detailed Definition Priority: To have a safe, caring and respectful learning environment Indicators: Data from SWIS database on referrals per day per month Type of report: Bar graph and table Frequency: Quarterly Responsible for metric: PBIS Coordinator Distribution: Cabinet, Board of Education, Community, Building PBIS teams When: Two weeks after the completion of a month Comparatives: None at this time Trending: Prior year and current year, as data develops, trend for three years. Data fields necessary: ODR fields – Name, date, time, grade, ID number, location, referring staff, problem behavior, motivation, others involved, administrative decision. Definitions of major office discipline infractions are attached. Data entered by secretaries at the schools. PBIS internal coaches run monthly reports for school. PBIS Coordinator runs monthly report for District. The data are downloaded by Diane LaMaster from the SWIS database. They are filtered to list students having two or more office referrals. The number of students having two or more referrals is subtracted from the number of enrolled students. The enrolled students are downloaded from the SWIS database by Diane LaMaster. The difference, students with less than two office referrals, is divided by all enrolled students to obtain the percentage of students with less than two discipline referrals. |
