It’s time to dream big once again at the annual Rock Island/Milan Public Schools “Night of 1000 Dreams” fundraiser on Friday, April 16, 2010, at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Hall, 4600 Blackhawk Road, Rock Island. This year marks the 22nd year for the event.

Music teacher Alecia Sharback will soon be able to fill her new music room at the Primary Academy with the sound of music thanks to the help of a Great American Classroom Makeover grant she won from Great American Financial.

The Thoms Family Above & Beyond Scholarship announced Rock Island High School Senior Kevin Johnson as the grand scholarship winner at a reception for the finalists at Rock Island High School on Tuesday, January 12, before the Board of Education meeting.
