Book Club will be on a field trip

Championship dodgeball game will be played Friday after school from 1:30-2:00.

WJHS Jazz Band will play at Huckleberry’s in Rock Island from 6-7 P.M

All football players interested in playing next year are to meet with the new Varsity Head Coach Bryan Stortz after school TODAY, FRIDAY in the cafeteria.  He will be explaining summer camp and summer opportunities to players and answering any questions.

NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY IN OBSERVANCE OF MEMORIAL DAY.

TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY OF NEXT WEEK SCHOOL DISMISSES AT 1:30.

THURSDAY, MAY 31 – 8^TH GRADE PROMOTION CEREMONY AT RIHS FIELDHOUSE

FRIDAY, JUNE 1 – LAST DAY OF SCHOOL 8:13-9:13

8^th Graders check the office window to see if you are eligible for any awards.

Track athletes who have not turned in their uniforms will be issued conditions.  Clear track conditions with Mr. Camlin or Mrs. Peterson in the main office, no one else.

Seventh graders interested in being an office helper next year can sign up in the main office.  Student must have a C average, good attendance and no discipline referrals as a 7^th grader.

The end of the year is soon approaching! ALL DETENTIONS MUST BE SERVED BY MAY 31.  Make sure to check the main office window for school conditions.  Even if you think you do not have one, check the window.  Condition list changes every couple of days until the very last day of school, so check the list every few days.  School conditions need to be cleared in the main office, not with the teacher.  If it is not cleared in the main office, it is not cleared.  Library conditions must be cleared through the library. All books must be turned into the library by May 24.  8^TH GRADE CONDITIONS NOT CLEARED BY THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR WILL RESULT IN AN EMPTY GRADUATIONS PACKET.  7^TH GRADE CONDITIONS NOT CLEARED BY THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR WILL HOLD UP REGISTRATION FOR 8^TH GRADE.

This summer at Saukie and Highland Springs Golf Courses our Junior Golf programs will be going full blast.  Any junior that registers for a golf program is eligible to receive a Sticks for Kids card that allows them to play golf at Saukie for only a $5 greens fee!  During June, July and August kids 8-14 can play free at Saukie during the week when playing with a paid adult!  For more details contact the Parks and Recreation Office 732-7275.
