THE DETENTION ROOM WILL BE OPEN AFTER SCHOOL TODAY FOR STUDENTS TO SERVE.

The Academic teams from Washington and Edison will compete today in the Rocky cafeteria at 4:30.

The straight A’s and Perfect attendance treat will be on Monday!  Mr. Smith is absent as well as Mary Lee for a check.

Seventh graders interested in being an office helper next year can sign up in the main office.  Student must have a C average, good attendance and no discipline referrals as a 7^th grader.

The end of the year is soon approaching!  Make sure to check the main office window for school conditions.  Even if you think you do not have one, check the window.  School conditions need to be cleared in the main office, not with the teacher.  If it is not cleared in the main office, it is not cleared.  Library conditions must be cleared through the library. All books must be turned into the library by May 24.

8^TH GRADE CONDITIONS NOT CLEARED BY THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR WILL RESULT IN AN EMPTY GRADUATIONS PACKET.  7^TH GRADE CONDITIONS NOT CLEARED BY THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR WILL HOLD UP REGISTRATION FOR 8^TH GRADE.

Attention 8^th Grade only! Mr. Humphreys is making an 8^th grade IMovie.  If you have any photos of you and your friends during your junior high days at WJHS, email them to kirk.humphreys@risd41.org

The semi-formal dance is fast approaching, next week on May 18.  To be eligible, no out of school suspensions and no more than 1 TEC for 4^th quarter, all detentions served, all conditions paid or cleared in the main office.  All library fines paid or cleared with Mrs. Long in the library.  ALL students will pay $5 for this dance.

How would you like to ride to the dance next Friday in style!  Enter to win a hour and a half party in an excursion limo!  You and 9 friends will get to ride around town and also enjoy a pizza party!  Tickets go on sale next Monday through Wednesday and they are only 1 for $1 or 10 for $5!  Don’t hesitate to enter and be the lucky winner of an awesome ride into the dance!
