Drama Club will rehearse from 6-7:30 tonight
SECME will meet next Thursday, May10th in room 103 at 2:20. Come and have some fun with shrinking a chip bag to miniature size and have fun outside with Bottle Rockets!
Come and be entertained with classic Beach Boys Music on Thursday, May 10 at
6:30 as our Drama team presents “Hang Ten”. Admission is FREE! Honor the Beach Boys and support Lights On For Learning by wearing a Hawaiian shirt.
ATTENTION 8th GRADE STUDENTS:
Tryouts for next years’ Rock Island High School football and basketball cheerleader squads and for our ROCKMAN Mascot will be held on Friday, May 11th starting at 3:30 in the High School Fieldhouse. Clinics will be held on Tuesday, May 8th; Wednesday, May 9th; and Thursday, May 10th. The Tuesday and Thursday clinics will be from 3:30 to 5:30 and the Wednesday clinic will be from 2:30 to 4:30. All students who plan to attend Rocky next fall and would like to be cheerleaders or want to represent our school as the ROCKMAN must attend at least one of the clinics to learn the cheers and stunting requirements that will be used for tryouts. Dress for cheering. Don’t miss out. Tryout for Rocky cheerleading and the ROCKMAN!
Saturday, May 5:
WJHS Band will be at Oak Prairie Junior High School for state competition. Wish them luck!
