Wednesday, December 21:

Don’t forget to check out the Washington Warriors blanket hanging by Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Melody’s rooms.  Be sure to buy your raffle tickets to WIN this fabulous blanket!  Tickets are only one dollar and the winner will be chosen on Friday.  See Mrs. Melody for tickets!

Assembly Schedule – RIHS Chorus students will perform at 1:30

Extension!  Students come and shop with your WARRIOR BUCKS for holiday items in the library again today, December 21 after school.  There are a few items left.  Great items you can exchange for your warrior bucks for gifts for your family!

Holiday Candy Canes will be sold during lunch today and tomorrow.   This is a chance to send a candy cane & message to that special someone.  They will be delivered to students on Friday, December 23rd.  All students will receive a candy cane from the school.

8th Grade girl’s basketball tryouts are December 19, 20 and 21.  Interested players must attend all 3 days.  There will be an 8th Grade parent meeting on Thursday, December 22 at 4:30 p.m.

WJHS Winter Concert featuring our band, chorus and orchestra students beginning at 7 P.M.

Drama Club will perform at Denkmann at 9:30 A.M.

8th Grade girl’s basketball Coach, Mrs. Fulton, will hold a parent meeting at 4:30 for team parents.

Dance Club, Robotics Club, History Club, Strategy Club, MathCounts, Science Club and Student Council meet at 2:30.

Planning has begun for the Edison/Washington Jr. High School’s spring trip to Washington DC.  It will be March 17-19, 2012. The price of the tour is $1,049, based on 40-50 paid participants.  Mr. Schmit is the contact for WJHS.  The deadlines are coming up quickly.  Please contact Mr. Schmit for further details and an itinerary.  

Friday, December 23:

Candy canes delivered to students during 7th period

Last day of school before break -  Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
