Thurgood Marshall Newsletter July 1, 2009 Volume 1 – Issue 4 Mr. Phil Ambrose – Principal Mr. Greg Williams – Assistant Principal’s News As we enter into our summer break the Thurgood Marshall administration team recognizes the outstanding work and accomplishments of our students and staff…we congratulate all of these participants for a job well done. The 2008-2009 school year produced a number of significant academic achievements. We also witnessed a measurable decline in the number of disciplinary referrals and suspensions. These realities contributed to a more positive, peaceful school climate. Again, our students and staff should be commended for a job well done. The political and social changes taking place on the national stage will forever impact the culture of American Society. Our hope is that our students will embrace the idealism of the day, and be as a result, more motivated and competitive in their academic affairs.
