The PRIDE of Rock Island Marching Band has set their competition schedule for the Fall season! This seasons show, The Feud, will feature a Hatfield and McCoy-style production complete with set design, props and costumes. Two highlights:
Sept. 19th – Preview Night
The annual Preview Night on September 19 for the Pride of Rock Island Marching Band is a chance for the community to come out and see the entire marching band competition show, The Feud. It also features a combined piece with the jr. high band students. Stadium concessions start at 6:00 p.m. and performance starts @ 7:15 p.m. Admission is free.
Oct. 8th – 4th Annual Showcase of Bands
The Fourth Annual Showcase of Bands features 6 local Illinois high school bands that will perform for the community: Geneseo, Moline, Orion, Rockridge, Rock Island and United Township. Performances begin at 7 p.m. Concessions will be sold. For more information contact Rock Island High School Band Director Pete Carlin, 309-793-5950 x1174.

September 15 – Marching Band Competition at Morton High School in Morton, Illinois.
September 19 – Preview Night, RIHS Stadium concessions open at 6 p.m. Show at 7:15 p.m.
September 29 – Marching Band Competition at Prospect High School in Mt. Prospect, Illinois.
October 8 – Annual Marching Band Showcase, RIHS Stadium, 7 p.m.
October 13 – Marching Band Competition at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
October 27 – Marching Band Competition at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.
