Testing

There are a number of tests that students should be aware of while at Rock Island High School.

ACT
The ACT is the most important test for those students planning to go to college. This test is test is offered six times each school year, and it is recommended to take in the spring of a student’s junior year. All students at will take the ACT at no cost as part of the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) at Rock Island High School in late April of their junior year. The ACT is administered at Rocky in October and April each school year. Seniors wishing to retake the ACT should do so in June or early in their junior year.
