MUSIC DEPARTMENT
Calling all musicians, tonight the Music Department will host their “Just Desserts” Awards Banquet in the Cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.

SENIOR RECOGNITION NIGHT
Hey Seniors, don’t forget about your Senior Recognition Night tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium.

CLUBS
Attention MTIP members:  Don’t forget our last meeting is today after school in room 310. See Mrs. D if you cannot attend.

YEARBOOKS
Yearbooks will be ready for pick up on Thursday, after school, in room 211.  Bring ID and receipt.  Remember, it’s after school on Thursday.  No early pick up will be allowed.

LOCKER CLEANOUT
Staff and students: For Tuesday’s locker cleanout, there will be blue recycle bins for reusable items (such as coats, shoe etc.) and green recycle bins for paper.  Let’s work together to make this a successful event.

CAP AND GOWN PICK UP
If you did not pick up your cap and gown order on Friday, be sure to stop by the book store and pick it up today.

LIBRARY BOOKS
All library books are due; please return to avoid a condition. 

FRESHMAN RING ORDERS
Attention all freshman:  You may order your class ring on Thursday the 24nd from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 in the cafeteria and again from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the hall of the dean’s office.

QUARTER HONOR ROLL RECOGNITION
Hey Rocks, it’s that time of year for the Quarter Honor Roll recognition.  We will have a special lunch next Friday the 25th out in the courtyard during the lunches.  Check the board outside the Dean’s office to see if you are on the Honor Roll.  Next week you can pick up a ticket from the Deans’ office and that will allow you to get your special lunch on the 25th.  Let’s see how good of a grill master Mr. Wernentin is!!! Check the bulletin board outside the Deans’ office for more details.

COUNSELING OFFICE NEWS
For those who received PSAE Final Exemptions, you must sign up in the Counseling Office.  The deadline for selecting your PSAE Final Exemptions will be Tuesday, May 22nd.

Attention Current 9th, 10th and 11th Graders!  Eastern Iowa Community College is offering a “Summer Transportation Institute” for students interested in careers in Transportation Engineering, Science or a Technology related career.  The program is FREE and students who successfully complete the program will receive $200!  The program runs from June 4th through June 29th (Monday-Friday) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Interested students need to have an at least a 2.0 GPA, must write an essay and have 2 letters of recommendation.  See Mr. Kingery for more details. 

SPORTS
If you are interested in playing on the boy’s golf team next year, there will be a meeting tomorrow immediately after school in room 4.

Boys Soccer – There will be a meeting tomorrow after school in room 211 for current players and any athletes interested in playing boys Soccer in the fall.  Summer workouts and end of year pizza party will be discussed.
