Congratulations to the girls track team. They won the Bloomington 11 team indoor invitational. They made a statement by beating last year’s AA state champions by almost 100 points. Event champions were: Chelsey Temple in the Triple Jump; Trineisha Gray in the Long Jump; Shamell Mangrum in the Shot put; Brieanna Barnes in the Pole Vault. On the Track: Mystique Thompson, Jalea Jackson, and Troy Jackson went 1, 2, 3 in the 55 dash; Mystique, Jalea, Trineisha Gray and LaCresha Linton won the 4 by 200 relay in a time that places them first in the state right now. Good luck to the girls at their next meet in Sycamore next Tuesday.
Congratulations to the fresh-soph wrestlers this weekend. Tyler Dehaven, Jean-Louis Sawadogo, JT Jones, and Josh Davis all qualified for the AAU fresh-soph state championship tournament this weekend in Springfield. Good luck guys!

After the performance there will be an informational meeting on how to audition for the Color Guard this fall. Come see what it’s all about, what are you waiting for?! See you on March 7th!
