Last night’s results of our Girls Swim team:   It was a very exciting JV race between Galesburg and Rocky. It came down to the last relay when Galesburg totaled 64 points and Rocky 59 points. The results of the Varsity team were Galesburg with 120 points and Rocky with 49 points.  There were some great swims and close races.  Varsity member Kelly Bishop had two first place finishes with the 200 yard IM, and 100 yard butterfly.  Congrats to Kelly!  The JV team also had some 1st place finishes with Alyssa Nunes – 100 yard back stroke and Alicia Freiburg – 100 yard breast stroke.  Way to go Alyssa and Alicia!  The race of the night goes to Maggie Pappas in her battle against Sophia Moreno. Moreno finished 1:16:83 in the break stroke and Pappas finished 1:19:90.  Good job Maggie and Sophia! Congratulations to all the Lady Rock swimmers.  Don’t forget that swim practice is at 3:35 p.m. tonight.
