CAPS AND GOWN DISTRIBUTION – Date Revised
Seniors: Listen up for this date change! Caps and gowns will be distributed on Friday, May 20th from 8:00 to 3:00 p.m.
HONOR ROLL ASSEMBLYAttention Rocks, it is that time of the year again for the Quarter Honor Roll. The assembly will be on Monday the 23rd in the auditorium during 7th hour. Check the list outside the Deans complex to see if you made the honor roll. Also look for notes outside the Deans complex letting you know when shirts will be handed out.
PROM INFORMATION
Okay all you Rocky fans out there…….this is definitely the last week that you can buy your prom tickets if you haven’t already. Sorry…Charlie…the price has NOW gone up to $16 a ticket and you will NOT be able to buy yours at the door. This Saturday is prom at the Milan Community Center from 8 to 11 and it is the last dance before graduation. That is correct! Enjoy the night with fantastic music…….great friends…..you might be able to get a glimpse of your favorite teachers dancing, too! That’s right…..so don’t forget to buy them. You have until Friday.
Attention all students who are planning to attend Prom this Saturday, May 21:
Students will not be admitted to Prom after 10:15 p.m. on Saturday night. Please be sure to schedule your dinner plans early so that you have plenty of time to get to the dance on time.
POST PROM INFORMATION
After Prom Party- Students please return your Post Prom contracts to the Bookstore by Thursday of this week! A sampling of the prizes to be given away is in the display case next to the Library. Check them out! Over $1500 of prizes given that evening. Free Food, games, music and more available at the After Prom Party. Remember, you must have your contract returned to attend the After Prom Party. If parents would like to know if their student has returned their contract, they can call Sue Pienta 309-786-1364 to verify.
Volunteers needed! – We are still in need of adult volunteers for the After Prom Party! If you can help, please call or email Sue Pienta – 786-1364 or smpienta@aol.com. The post prom party cannot happen without adults to help out. We have an assortment of areas to assist – Refilling Food, keeping an eye on a game – making sure the students treat the games with care, check in, walking around making sure everyone is safe. Very easy things like this. Shifts are 10:30-1:30 and 1:30-3:30 or 11-3 am. Please come and help out, we need you!
FREE PROM DRESSES
Attention ladies: The QC Prom Closet is now open before school and after school for any girl in need of a prom dress. Stop by the library to see the great selection of dresses available at no cost.
Flower coupon
If you plan on attending prom and need a corsage or a boutonnière, stop by the main office to pick up a coupon for 10% off.
DRAMA
Wizard of Oz cast and pit members need to turn in scripts and music books as soon as possible!
Hey Drama Club. Don’t forget the meeting Thursday. We will discuss elections, awards and the movie night. See Y’all there!
Attention All Academic Team members: Our end of the year party has been rescheduled for 5:30 pm Thursday night at Pizza & Subs. Please see Mrs. Pohling if you plan to attend.
Ok HONOR ROLL Students….check outside the Dean’s office for a note…and pay attention. You need to stop by the Dean’s office to pick up your pass on Wednesday the 18th. That is the Day we will hand out the shirts.
Crimson will be 1st hour and Gold will be 2nd hour….you must have a pass in order to get your shirt. Any questions see Mrs. Williams.
Attn Students…..Post Prom parent consent forms must be turned in by Monday the 16th in order to be eligible for the early bird drawing. Deadline for all others is Thursday the 19th. Remember, both you and your date must turn the forms in to the bookstore.
ATTENTION SENIORS!
It’s not too late to turn in your Senior Picture payment envelope to Mr. Taylor or Ms. Phillips in the Dean’s Complex by 3:00 pm TODAY.
Lights On For Learning will continiue to offer free tutoring and homework assistance to Rocky students on Mondays, Tuesdays , and Thursdays throughout the fourth (4th) quarter. See Mrs. Johnson in room 226 for an application.
