Announcement for Monday the 9th of May

PSAE/ACT TESTING

Students who missed the PSAE/ACT test, will meet for the Day 1 series on Wednesday, May 11^TH from 8 to 12:30 a.m. in the library.  Day 2 testing of the PSAE/ACT will be on Thursday, May 12^th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the library.  Students, who are scheduled for the make up test, must test in order to be promoted to senior status or to graduate from RIHS.

LIBRARY

On Wednesday and Thursday the library will not be open in the morning due to PSAE make-up testing.  The library will open later on both days once all testing materials have been removed from the library.

CAPS AND GOWN DISTRIBUTION – Date Revised

Seniors:  Listen up for this date change!  Caps and gowns will be distributed on Friday, May 20^th from 8:00 to 3:00 p.m.

HONOR ROLL ASSEMBLY

Attention Rocks, it is that time of the year again for the Quarter Honor Roll.  The assembly will be on Monday the 23^rd in the auditorium during 7^th hour.  Check the list outside the Deans complex to see if you made the honor roll.  Also look for notes outside the Deans complex letting you know when shirts will be handed out.

SENIOR GROUP PICTURES

Seniors:  Senior group pictures will be taken on Tuesday the 10th.  Meet in front of the auditorium at 8:30 sharp.  This picture will be a memento that you can have forever, so please remember to be a part of this event.

PTSA

The next PTSA meeting will be held on Thursday the 12^th at 6:00 p.m. at City Limits Restaurant.  All parents and staff members are invited to attend.

PROM INFORMATION

And the winner is…………..oops…..we still can’t tell you yet, but you can find out at this year’s prom.  Prom will be at Milan Community Center from 8 to 11.  Lots of dancing, lots of friends……..lots of good time.  Don’t miss out.   Bring a date…..bring a friend…..or just bring yourself…….it is all about having a great time before school gets out.   Starting Monday, May 9^th tickets will cost $14.  Every ticket bought will receive a “cool” picture frame.  So “boogie” your way to the bookstore to buy yours today!

POST PROM INFORMATION

Please make sure you have an After Prom Party contract when you pick up your Prom tickets. The After Prom Party is FREE to all students attending Prom and to all Jr. and Senior students not attending prom. Review the contract with your parent/guardian, have them sign it, and fill it out completely. If you are bringing a date – then EACH of you must fill out a separate contract with that requires parental information.  All contracts returned to the Book Store by the end of the school day on May 16 will be entered into a special Early Bird drawing for a $100 Visa Gift Card. The drawing will be held at the After Prom event at approximately 12:30 am. If you plan on attending prom and need a corsage or a boutonnière, stop by the main office to pick up a coupon for 10% off.

CLUBS

Attention all Academic Team players: The end of the year party scheduled for Monday, May 9th has been cancelled.  It will be rescheduled at a later date.

LIGHTS ON FOR LEARNING

Lights On For Learning will continue to offer free tutoring and homework assistance to Rocky students on Mondays, Tuesdays , and Thursdays throughout the fourth (4th) quarter. See Mrs. Johnson in room 226 for an application
