Announcements for Tuesday the 3rd

PRIDE CARD STORE
Hey students:  Do you have some pride cards that you want to redeem for some great prizes?  Well, the Pride Store will be open this Wednesday after school.  It is located across from the bookstore.

VARIETY SHOW
You can still get a tape of the variety show for $5.  See Mrs. Shirk in room 124 to purchase this item.

COUNSELING OFFICE
Junior NHS members will meet in Mrs. Hayek’s room (156) tomorrow, Wednesday at 7:15 am.  You should have received a green or yellow invite. Senior NHS members will meet in Mrs. Hayek’s room (156) on Thursday at 7:15 am.  You should have received a green or yellow invite.

CLUBS
Key Club will not meet this week because NHS needs to have meetings for invited sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Latinos Unidos will be meeting in room 134, after school, on Thursday, February 5^th.

Student Council Workers:  don’t forget that you are selling carnations today during lunch.

SPORTS
The Girls’ Bowling Team hosted the Big 6 triangular meet yesterday at Town & Country Lanes.  The Rocks came away with a victory over Galesburg and a loss to United Township in the varsity match, and two victories in the junior varsity match.  Both teams had balanced scoring with only a 60 pin difference between the top 4 bowlers.  The varsity bowlers were Stefani Waite, Shelby Roberge, Amber Meyers, Tara Rednour, Ellen Moller, and Allison Mann.  Stefani Waite and Ellen Moller threw 200 games for the varsity.  The junior varsity bowlers were Kelsey Berryhill, Beth Greenwood, Trinity Stroup, Ashley Skinner, Anna Pienta, and Andrea Coyne.  Ashley Skinner and Andrea Coyne rolled 200 games for the junior varsity. The Rocks will honor their seniors Beth Greenwood, Tara Rednour, Kelsey Berryhill, Andrea Coyne, Trinity Stroup, and Ayla Serrano today in their final dual match of the season with Sterling at Town & Country Lanes at 4:00.
