Announcements for Tuesday the 19th

Attention Equestrian Club members:  TODAY, after school, you must stop by room 27 to pick up a release form.

 Key Club will meet this Thursday at 7:15 in room 156. If you do not receive a pass from an office runner by the end of Wednesday, be sure to see Mrs. Hayek in room 156. We look forward to seeing you and making plans for upcoming activities.Â

Student council Executive Board meeting in room 122 tomorrow morning @ 7:20 p.m.

 Attention Students: If you have not purchased your parking pass, please remember to stop at the bookstore before school, during lunch or after school.  You must have your driver’s license, proof of insurance and the license plate number for your car.  And of course, the $4 it costs for the parking pass.  Please remember you are required to have a parking pass to park in school lots and you can be ticketed for not displaying your RIHS parking pass.

 Attention Students:  If you have lost items here at school, be sure to check the lost and found located in the bookstore.  Many items get turned in here over the course of the school year and we always like to reunite owners and their property.  It is important to check back several times because things don’t always come in the very next day.  For instance, there is now in the lost and found a black and white checked stocking hat that a young woman had asked about.  She stopped in once and has not returned.  So if you still need this your boyfriend’s hat back – it is here.Â

Varsity Academic Team practice will be TODAY after school from 3:30-4:30 in Mrs. Bohling’s room 216.Â

Baseball guys – Listen up for the date change:  Anyone interested in fall baseball, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday after school in Mr. Campbell’s room (314) .

LIGHTS ON FOR LEARNING is available to help you.  If you need help with Math, see Mrs. Stark in Rm. 300.  If English is your need, see Ms. Rice in Rm. 302 to help you.  Both teachers will be available from 3:30 – 4:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday.  We want to help you help yourself.Â

See you there. Hello RIHS Artists!!!!  We need you!  Spanish Club is having a contest to design the new logo for the Spanish Club T-Shirts.  Please place your entry on a standard sheet of computer paper.  On the back put your name and phone number and turn it into Mrs. Shirk by August 26^th.  You can win $25.00 cash if your entry is selected. Election Day!!!Â

 TODAY, we will be voting for the Spanish Club Officers.  You will need to pay your dues if you wish to vote.  We will be voting during your Spanish Class.  If you do not have a Spanish Class, then see Mrs. Shirk.Â

Girls Basketball:   OPEN GYM will begin on Wed., Aug. 20^th.  Open Gym will start at 6:30 P.M. on Mondays and Wednesdays and at 4 P.M. on Sundays and will be held in the Small gym. Please, Contact Coach Hoover or Coach Hoeppner with any questions.Â

Are you interested in German language and culture?  Come join us at German Club’s first meeting TODAY, after school, in room 221.  Come and enjoy food and fun!! Students:Â
