Announcements for Monday the 18th

The past Saturday, EAC students, Global Biology Students and ROTC students helped at the Xstream cleanup. Their hard work included hauling out many tires, barrels and large pieces of metal.  Thank you to all these students who gave up their Saturday to make this world a cleaner place to live.

 Student council Executive Board meeting in room 122 on Wednesday morning @ 7:20 p.m.

 Varsity Academic Team practice will be Tuesday after school from 3:30-4:30 in room 216 (Ms. Bohling’s room).Â

Anyone interested in fall baseball, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday after school in Mr. Campbell’s room (314).

 LIGHTS ON FOR LEARNING is available to help you.  If you need help with Math, see Mrs. Stark in Rm. 300.  If English is your need, see Ms. Rice in Rm. 302 to help you.  Both teachers will be available from 3:30 – 4:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday.  We want to help you help yourself.  See you there.Â

Attention Drama Club Members:  Please attend the meeting, TODAY, after school, in room 146.  We will be discussing upcoming plays/auditions and ordering t-shirts.  Hope to see you there!Â

Hello RIHS Artists!!!!  We need you!  Spanish Club is having a contest to design the new logo for the Spanish Club T-Shirts.  Please place your entry on a standard sheet of computer paper.  On the back put your name and phone number and turn it into Mrs. Shirk by August 26^th.  You can win $25.00 cash if your entry is selected.Â

Election Day!!!  Tuesday, August 19^th, we will be voting for the Spanish Club Officers.  You will need to pay your dues if you wish to vote.  We will be voting during your Spanish Class.  If you do not have a Spanish Class, then see Mrs. Shirk.Â

Girls Basketball:   OPEN GYM will begin on Wed., Aug. 20^th.  Open Gym will start at 6:30 P.M. on Mondays and Wednesdays and at 4 P.M. on Sundays and will be held in the Small gym. Please, Contact Coach Hoover or Coach Hoeppner with any questions.Â

Are you interested in German language and culture?  Come join us at German Club’s first meeting on Tuesday, August 19^th, right after school in room 221.  Come and enjoy food and fun!!Â
