Hy-Vee Gardening Summer Program

Have your visited the Milan Hy-Vee lately?

Did you notice the raised-beds that have been built for our student gardeners?  

We are looking for 6 more students from grades 3-5 to participate in the Hy-Vee Sprouts summer program. Students will have fun working with the Hy-Vee Dietitian and the Hy-Vee Chef.  They will bring home food that they have grown in the raised-bed gardens to cook for their families. J  If you are interested in having your child participate and need a permission slip, please call the office at 793-5980. We would be glad to send one home. Hy-Vee would like students to commit to the once a week program, but they understand if they need to miss 1-2 weeks of the 10 week program. The program will not be held the week of July 4^th.
