Welcome from the Director
Welcome to our site! Welcome, we’re glad you’re here. Welcome, to our site! Welcome, we’re glad you’re here!
Our primary goal is to deliver a comprehensive child development program designed to provide children with a full range of developmental experiences.
The preschool staff presides over three programs within the Rock Island/Milan School District:
The state funded Prevention Initiative Program is overseen by our Parent Educator and assists families with children ages birth – age 3 using the Parents as Teachers model.
The state funded Pre-Kindergarten program has three classrooms located at three different locations within the district.
The federal funded Head Start program has eighteen classrooms located at nine different locations within the district.
The Pre-K and Head Start programs serve three and four year old children within the district. Each classroom has a Family Service Worker/Parent Advocate that is responsible for assisting the parents with their children.
Our curriculum is designed to address the whole child by gearing their learning experiences as such.
We are excited about working with the children this year and making a difference to the children and their families and assisting them in the best way possible!
