We will be holding a Retirement Tea for Janet Lockhart Johnson on May 24, 3:30 – 5:30 in the Longfellow gym.  Let’s give her a hand for 41 years of teaching!

Come to the Luau!

Longfellow Luau is coming up on Friday May 4th 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Prizes, games, fun, food all activities outside, weather permitting.  Don’t forget to wear your Hawaiian shirt!

The Talent Show is coming up!

Longfellow Talent Show is on Thursday, April 19th 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.  All proceeds will go to the Red Cross to help the Harrisburg Illinois community recover from tornado damage.  Baked goods available before the show and during intermission.

Kindergarten Round Up at Longfellow

Kindergarten Round Up will be at Longfellow Liberal Arts on Tuesday, April 10 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the school. Parents and guardians should bring birth certificate, physical (if done), social security card, and proof of residence. Child must be 5 on or before September 1st, 2012.

Fine Arts Night

Fine Arts Night will be Feb 16th from  5:30 – 7:00 p.m. There will be Dance, Music, and Art activities in twenty minute rotations  Student artwork will be on display.  There will also be refreshments and prizes!

Come to Trivia Night!

Longfellow Liberal Arts is holding a Trivia Night on Feb 11th at the  R I Arsenal Heritage Hall, Bldg#60 on  Rodman & Gillespie. Winter Music Program will be December 22nd at 1:00 p.m. Come and enjoy some children singing to put a smile on your face and some new tunes in your head! Don’t forget early out at 2:10!

Join us for Fiesta Feliz Navidad

December 8 will be our Fiesta Feliz Navidad from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. There will be a FREE Potluck dinner. Please bring a dish to share with others. Table service and beverages provided. Prizes, pinatas for the children, and dancing by Quad City Ballet Folklorico Dancers.

Breakfast with Santa and Gingerbread Houses

Portrait Retakes

Portrait retakes will be held Wednesday, November 16. Students will be photographed if… the portrait taken previously was not to your liking-please return any purchased photos on retake day. your child was absent September 30, the initial portrait day.
