Charles Wallace tells Meg, “I think it will be better if people go on thinking I’m not very bright. They won’t hate me quite so much.” (pg 30) Have you ever had to pretend to be something different that what you really were? When? How did this feel? Why do you think you chose not to”be yourself?”
Meg feels that much of what she has to learn in school is unimportant. What do you consider important for you to learn in school? What would you say to the school board to change what is taught? Explain in detail what you consider important.
