Kirundi Day at Frances Willard

Frances Willard Elementary held Kirundi Day on Thursday, April 5. The Kirundi speaking English Language Learner (ELL) students planned the entire presentation with ELL teacher Mrs. Goslin (recently named Master Teacher by the Dispatch and Argus!).

Various classrooms in the school signed up to attend a 30-minute presentation put on by the ELL students about the Kirundi culture. Students learned about the geography of Tanzania, refugee camps, Kirundi language, games, dances and songs.
