Problem:
While using the Promethean Board to teach a lesson, the screen turns blue [says 'Source:Computer 1 (Auto), No Signal'] about every few minutes when not being written on. To get the projector to show the same screen that is displayed on the computer, the mouse has to be moved or the keyboard has to be pressed.

Solution:
  • Go to the system preference under the Apple in the top left corner.
  • Open "energy saver"
  • Verify and adjust the settings so the computer does not want to go to sleep and does not allow for display sleep for a longer period of time. This may allow for signal to continue to the external display and thus avoid your issue.


If the problem persists, look at the screen saver settings (in the System Preferences) and adjust the time to prevent the screen saver from activating as quickly.
