403b Voluntary Retirement Program Enrollment Information
Pre-tax voluntary retirement programs provide a great opportunity to develop a financial program to prepare for your future financial retirement needs. The District is pleased to offer a new program that will provide investment options to assist you in meeting your long-range financial plans. The investment platform offers a broad range of investment vehicles, recommended by Morningstar, to meet your financial needs, while being offered at lower fees than most programs currently in place. Investment options include a fixed rate program, target date funds, and mutual funds in a broad range of asset classes.
As a reminder, the MetLife program deductions may begin on the November 15, 2008 paycheck. If you currently have a 403b deduction with another vendor, these deductions may continue (if the vendor stays active in the market) until December 15, 2008. Effective with the December 29, 2008 paycheck, the MetLife program will be the sole 403b provider for the District. You must complete an enrollment form for the MetLife program to have deductions taken from your paycheck.
