Now that the equipment is out of the way and exterior work complete, Ridgewood Elementary can show off the new brick facade that surrounds the entrance. Electrical and duct work has been completed in the interior classroom areas.

Denkmann Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
November 9th, 2009 by HollyOn Tuesday November 3 Denkmann Elementary held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially mark the end of their construction. The construction added 4,400 additional square feet to the school, adding a new cafeteria, two additional instructional areas, a teacher workroom and a secure entry and administrative office area to the growing school.
Principal John Frieden and Superintendent Loy thanked the parents, teachers and community for their support of the Building Excellence plan and as well as Russell Construction, Larrison Architects and Miner & Associates for a job well done.

October 26th, 2009 by HollyFrances Willard Elementary construction is nearing completion. The secure front entrance, new administration area, restrooms and nurses office are complete, and the classroom and cafeteria addition should be finalized sometime in December.

Denkmann Construction Nearing Completion
October 19th, 2009 by HollyThe construction crews are adding the final touches to the Denkmann Elementary cafeteria addition. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be planned to officially mark the grand opening of the space. The administration area with secure entrance and small instructional office are completed and staff have moved in to occupy the space.

Frances Willard, Denkmann & Ridgewood Update
August 17th, 2009 by HollyConstruction at Frances Willard Elementary continues with the focus areas being the front office reconstruction and the classroom and cafeteria addition. The parking lot is complete on the west side of the school near the front entrance and is in use by staff and visitors.

Denkmann Elementary front office construction will be complete in the next week or two. New features include a space for small instruction and secure front entry. The cafeteria construction on the south side of the building continues, the exterior walls are up and the roof will be in place by the end of August. Cafeteria is slated to be complete by December.

Ridgewood Elementary kept busy over the summer with the new cafeteria (complete) as well as expanding the front face of the building for the new media center and additional classrooms.
