Washington Junior High 7th Grade Volleyball won their game last night against Glenview! Congrats to Liz Moore who did a superb job at serving 17 points for the team! Close runner up-Kelsey Jackson with 12! Great job last night to the 7th Grade Warrior Volleyball team!

Congrats to the 8th Grade Volleyball team on their win yesterday against Glenview! They are now 4 and 0!

Teams win openers

Congratulations to the girls’ volleyball program, as all three teams (Freshman, Sophomore and Varsity) won their matches last night, in the home opener for all three teams. The Freshman team started off the evening with a 2 games to none victory, and then the varsity won a very exciting 3 game match, 2 games to 1.

Jacqueline Twing led the offense with 18 assists. Rayven Morrow led the team in 9 kills, and also led the team in 4 blocks. This moves the varsity team season record to 4 wins and 2 loses. A big thank you to all those who attended the match last night, the crowd was great.

Girls take 1st

Rocky Girls’ Cross County had their first meet of the season last night. The Lady Rocks took first topping Moline, Galesburg, Alleman, and UT. All the girls ran great races and contributed to an awesome first race for the team. Way to go Lady Rocks!
